Program Description:

The Nursing Management Diploma is designed to meet the needs of the local job market for this specialization. Training in this specialization is delivered over five semesters using a modular (integrated) system. Each training module lasts eight weeks, totaling 1488 training hours, in addition to 360 hours of practical training in the workplace, equivalent to 71 credit hours.

This program focuses on developing specialized skills in nursing management. It equips students with essential skills in nursing administration and leadership, administrative statistics, human resource management, health services management, financial management fundamentals, health administrative operations management, health services management, crisis and risk management in health administration, information systems in nursing management, and other related courses. The training emphasizes practical application and integrates it with the theoretical aspects of most specialized courses. This is achieved through intensive practical training and the implementation of a cooperative training program with sectors related to the trainee's specialization. The program also includes general skills in Islamic culture, Arabic language, English language, mathematics, and computer applications.


Graduates of this program are awarded a Diploma in Nursing Administration and are expected to work in fields related to nursing administration.

General Program Objective:

This program aims to qualify trainees to work in nursing administration and obtain Level 5 of the National Professional Qualifications Framework.

Specific Program Objectives:

By the end of this program, trainees will be able to perform the following tasks effectively:

• Understand the fundamental concepts of nursing and healthcare management and their theoretical foundations.

• Be familiar with modern management sciences and their methods of planning, organizing, directing, and controlling within healthcare institutions.

• Understand the basic principles of statistics and medical probability and their applications in analyzing health data.

• Comprehend the concept of Total Quality Management and risk management in the healthcare work environment.

• Understand the fundamentals of financial resource management in healthcare institutions.

• Be familiar with the ethics of healthcare professions and their impact on daily practice.
